2025 in Knitting Stats

I try to keep an accurate count of projects and yarns used in Ravelry. I do find it interesting to see what I create over a year.

According to this years statistics I completed 20 projects in both crochet and knit combined. I removed a total of 5,620 yards of yarn from my collection. This is a little over 3 miles of yarn. I will admit not every yard is carefully accounted for by measuring, sometimes I just use a small bit and bob to finish a sock or make a stripe in a hat.

Ravelery will also rank the largest user of fiber, My Birthday Cake Pop Sweater and my least user, the Advent socks I just finished for DD on Christmas.

I currently have 6 WIPs that I will carry over into the new year. My first knitting plan is to finish at least 2 of them before February (The Garden Bee Bag and Old Vine).
