3/11 Wednesday WIPs

The knitting keeps me busy and I suppose out of trouble, but we shall see about that.

Felting Project: The second side of the bag is complete. Now to sew it together and get to felting.

Charity Knitting: The cowl is finished and will have an FO post this Friday.

Socks: This new cast on is not going very quickly. I have been neglecting it for other projects.

Crochet: I am now remembering why this project got pushed aside for 30 years. It is fiddly and easy to lose track of rounds. I had to tear out the last medallion I added last week when I tried to add another medallion and realized I had too many chain spaces. To help with the round confusion I ended up writing each round out on a separate piece of paper that are in order. Trying to look inside the book and than back to the round was way too confusing. I also think this pattern was written in the 1920s or 1930s and while they use the same crochet terminology there is not a whole lot of direction as far as stitch counts etc. After I did that I was able to recrochet the portion I had crocheted last week.
