FO Friday

Last year when I attended the Flagstaff Wool & Fiber Festival I bought 2 skeins of Navajo Churro wool with the intention of finding a felting project. I finally got around to picking a pattern a few months ago. The pattern I selected was for a bag from the Lion Brand website and it was a free pattern.

I knit this on straight needles and it took me a New York minute to remember how to cast on not in a circular shape. The colorwork was a little tight - I am still working on not pulling my floats. I finished both sides and sewed them together.

The other day I hand felted the bag. It did felt but I might still try felting it again later. It turned out to be a cute little bag. It looks better in person than laying flat.
