7/23 Wednesday WIPs

I did get some knitting accomplished on my trip, but maybe not as much as I had expected. Traveling by train is very relaxing but not conducive to knitting because the scenery can be stunning.

Logré tejer un poco durante mi viaje, pero quizás no tanto como esperaba. Viajar en tren es muy relajante, pero no es propicio para tejer porque el paisaje puede ser impresionante.

Old Vine Project: I completed two rounds of the 12 row pattern. I can tell where I joined the new yarn but I suspected that might be because the new portion has not been blocked.

Completé dos vueltas del patrón de 12 filas. Puedo ver dónde uní el nuevo hilo, pero sospeché que podría deberse a que la nueva porción no ha sido bloqueada.

Charity Knitting: Nothing was knitted on this project. It stayed home for the 10 days I was gone.

No se tejió nada en este proyecto. Se quedó en casa durante los 10 días que estuve fuera.

Socks: I love the yarn color and squishness of the Yarnable yarn my DD selected for her new socks. This did quite a bit of work because it was the most portable project I had. It was easy to slip into my day pack and knit on the subway.

Me encanta el color y la suavidad del hilo Yarnable que mi hija eligió para sus calcetines nuevos. Me costó bastante porque era el proyecto más portátil que tenía. Era fácil meterlo en mi mochila y tejerlo en el metro.

Crochet: The last piece of crochet into plastic canvas has been completed. The next step is to finish sewing all the linings onto the plastic canvas.

Ya está terminada la última pieza de crochet en lona plástica. El siguiente paso es terminar de coser todos los forros a la lona plástica.
