8/14 Reading Update

I abandoned 3 books this week! I just never found A Walk in the Park: A True Story of Spectacular Misadventure in the Grand Canyon by Kevin Fedarko a compelling read. I was about 20% into the book and really did not know exactly the point of the book. Also abandoned American Spy by Lauren Wilkerson. I was trying to listen to this at the gym but it did not make my workouts go any quicker. I read it in 2019 so this was technically a relisten for me. I also returned the audio book i was listening to - it was very uninteresting and too many graphic sex references. I never even made it past the first of the CDs before ejecting it.

¡Abandoné tres libros esta semana! Nunca me convenció "Un paseo por el parque: Una historia real de una espectacular desventura en el Gran Cañón" de Kevin Fedarko. Llevaba un 20% del libro y no entendía bien su propósito. También abandoné "Espía americano" de Lauren Wilkerson. Intenté escucharlo en el gimnasio, pero no me ayudó a entrenar más rápido. Lo leí en 2019, así que, técnicamente, lo volví a escuchar. También devolví el audiolibro que estaba escuchando; era muy aburrido y tenía demasiadas referencias sexuales explícitas. Ni siquiera pasé del primer CD antes de expulsarlo.

I only have 1 book I am currently reading. I tried a hardcover book but returned it quickly to the library. It was a romance and I could see the entire plot after about the first 15 pages.
