FO Friday

I finished the Catcus Twizzler socks. I used Knit Picks Felici in the Catcus Flower colorway. I modified the pattern to work with my overly sensitive, tiny princess feet. I only did the pattern on the leg of the sock, not the entire length.

Remember patterns on socks in shoes bother my poor delicate feet. I also did the princess sole because I also cannot stand to walk around on the purl side of my knitting. What a diva!

The pattern is a free one from Ravelry and is well written. The pattern is formed with slipped stitches. I might try it again on another pair but was not overly enthused with the socks once they were completed. This could very well change as I actually wear the socks and “break them in.” I think it might have more to do with the yarn than the pattern. I think my pattern matching was very nice.
