July 10th Reading

I listened to Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie and after driving around a few extra blocks it was complete. I kinda figured it out in the last 2 pages of the book. The writing in this book is very much of the time period in which it was written. Quite a bit of the language surrounding characters in the book made me uncomfortable as sexist and lack of cultural sensitivity.

Escuché "Asesinato en Mesopotamia" de Agatha Christie y, tras recorrer unas cuantas manzanas más, lo terminé. Lo entendí mejor en las últimas dos páginas del libro. La escritura de este libro se inspira en la época en la que fue escrito. Gran parte del lenguaje que rodea a los personajes me incomodó por ser sexista y carente de sensibilidad cultural.

The Mighty Red by Louise Erdrich. She is such a gifted writer. This is my walking on the treadmill book at the gym. I may be walking just a little further each time to get to another chapter.

El Poderoso Rojo de Louise Erdrich. Es una escritora con un talento increíble. Este es mi libro para caminar en la cinta del gimnasio. Quizás camine un poco más cada vez para llegar a otro capítulo.

American Spy by Lauren Wilkerson. According to Goodreads I read this in 2019. I do not remember anything from the book even though it is very well written.
