Linens Stash #1

A dear friend from church has been downsizing. She asked if I might be interested in linens that were created and used by her mother in law. She thought I might be able to use them in my sewing. A few weekends ago her son was in town so could carry the very large bags for her to exchange them at church.

Sewing with vintage linens is a thing so I was sure I could incorporate them into projects somehow. The workmanship on each piece is exquisite. I was just stunned time and time again as I unpacked the first box.

The “influencer” I follow for ideas on how to use these thrifted items is Poppy Lu. She posts videos and ideas for inspiration. On her website are links to patterns I could use.

I am so blessed with this gift. I am already thinking and planning on what to make.
