Sweater FO Friday
I finished a sweater in a little over a month and I was not even knitting on it every day. I began the Vibes Tee by Tif Neilan on Mother’s Day. It is not even Father’s Day and it is done.
It has 4 color stripes but the pattern stated you could use 3. That is exactly what I did. The white was some random fingering weight I found in my collection. The yellow and blue are sock yarns I bought from Knitcrate when it was still in business. By the by I really miss that yarn subscription company. The yarns they sold were all top notch. Luckily I have many in my collection to enjoy.
I did modify the pattern a little bit and instead of making eyelet rows after the first two I did the other decorative detail of slip1, purl 1.
The only issue I have is the joins where I changed colors. I think they could have been neater. I also would have liked to do those color changes on a side instead of on the back. If on the side any goofs would have been less noticable. I will wear it to knit group and see if the ladies notice. I have a feeling it is one of those things that draws my eye as the creator, but that the rest of the world does not even notice.
The sweater blocked beautifully. The bottom hem was trying to misbehave and flip up but blocking knocked some sense into it. It now lays flat as the good Lord intended.
