Wednesday WIPs for the week of Love

Well my streak of finishing up projects continues in February. I finished Old Vine! (A FO post will appear within a week or so). Well all this finishing means I am casting on some new things.

Felting Project: This past summer at the Flagstaff Wool & Fiber Festival I bought some Navajo Churro wool. I purchased it with the intention to felt. The stand had a stunning bag with a mountain motif on display but no pattern (the creator had just done the project without a pattern). I thought I could probably do the same, but now I decided to just try to find a pattern for a bag. I found one on the Lion Brand website. Of course the wool I am using is an Aran weight not the bulky called for, but when has that ever stopped me.

I cast on and am almost ready to begin the contrasting pattern. I am knitting this on straight needles, which I have not used in forever. It is a relaxing knit.

Charity Knitting: The watch cap is just moving along. An inch or more needed before the decreases for the crown.

Socks: The first of the pair of valentine sock is complete and the second sock has been cast on!

Crochet: I am still on the hunt for a long standing WIP. I know I put it some place safe, now I just have to remember where I thought that was.
