Mid October Reads

I found more time to read this past week. I finished Ghosted by Rosie Walsh. It was about a 3-4 star book for me. It had some surprising twists at the end. I also finished The Unquiet Heart by Katie Walsh. Not the best mystery - more Victorian melodrama than mystery. The streak continues because I also finished The Man in the Window by Jon Cohen. A delightful book about the human condition.

The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett. This is back at my house, but still not being read:(

Forensics: What Bugs, Burns, Prints, DNA and More Tell Us About Crime by Val McDermid. Quite an interesting book about the growth of forensics from the early 1700s to today.
