Using up "leftovers"
My husband made dinner on Friday night. He did not use up all the sirloin steak I left for him to use in the beef stew. I decided to use up the "leftover" meat to make Chinese Pepper Steak. This is actually a freezer meal idea but I just skipped the whole freezer part and went right to the making part.
This dish is easy to prepare. I always have onions in the house and 95% of the time I also have peppers. I just bought 5 pounds of raw honey so that was easy to obtain. I threw it all together in the crockpot and got to enjoy a free afternoon.
I paired it with rice I made in the Instant Pot and Egg Drop Soup. In addition, I made dip and had fresh veggies all cut up. A nice easy Sunday meal.
