1st Tiny Needle Tuesday of September

It is amazing how much easier it is to work on needlepoint during daylight hours. It has only taken me over 12 months to figure this out. Nobody ever accused me of being the sharpest tool in the shed.

Es increíble lo fácil que es trabajar el bordado durante el día. Solo me ha llevado más de 12 meses darme cuenta. Nadie me ha acusado nunca de ser la más lista.

Only used 3 colors this week and spent the majority of the hour in outlining/backstitching land. The purple flowers I have been working on the last few weeks are all now outlined to make them stand out better. I then spent time in tan/brown land. Had the opportunity to go back over the missing stitches due to working in 18th century workhouse conditions of low light.

Solo usé 3 colores esta semana y pasé la mayor parte de la hora delineando y pespunteando el color. Las flores moradas en las que he estado trabajando las últimas semanas ya están delineadas para que destaquen mejor. Luego trabajé en tonos tostados y marrones. Tuve la oportunidad de repasar las puntadas que faltaban debido a que trabajé en condiciones de poca luz, como en un hospicio del siglo XVIII.
