Charity FO Friday (Viernes de caridad)

I finished another helmet liner for the Christmas At Sea program of the Seaman’s Church Institute. By this point I think I have this pattern memorized.

Terminé otro forro para casco para el programa "Navidad en el Mar" del Instituto de la Iglesia del Marinero. Creo que ya me he aprendido el patrón de memoria.

The yarn used was some that a friend from church donated to me. It is an acrylic from the 1970s. This yarn will be around for centuries to come. It is not the softest, but does feel better after a good wash.

El hilo que usé fue un hilo que me donó un amigo de la iglesia. Es acrílico de los años 70. Este hilo durará siglos. No es el más suave, pero se siente mejor después de un buen lavado.

I added a stripe because I was playing a game of yarn chicken and thought I was going to lose. I should not have worried I have enough of the brown yarn left to add a stripe to my next project.

Añadí una raya porque estaba jugando a la gallina del hilo y pensé que iba a perder. No debería haberme preocupado, me queda suficiente hilo marrón para añadir una raya a mi próximo proyecto.

The next one will be gold with a brown stripe accent.

El próximo será dorado con un acento de rayas marrones.
