Charity Sewing

Well, this is in my world considered an upcycle. I am using scraps of material I have in my collection that I have used in other projects. I sewed 2 more bags for the organization, sewpowerful.org.

I used the rest of the quilted flamingo fabric. I used some of it to make the strap. Let’s just say my sewing machine did not enjoy the experience of sewing the strap. Luckily I can hand sew the bits it refused.

I had this sweet strawberry fabric that went well with a heavier red denim I used to make a skirt.

I think they turned out cute and nice. Hopefully they will made use of when sent to Zambia.
