Dill Pickle Cookies

Finally, this is not a sourdough recipe. One of the woman that works in our front office loves dill pickles and dill pickle flavored food. A recipe for dill pickle cookies came across my social media feed a few weeks ago. I thought I would give them a try.

I was not overly impressed - it was just a simple plain cookie recipe with chucks of dill pickle added for interest. There was nothing earth shattering about the recipe though you did add a small amount of pickle juice into the batter. They did not taste overly dill pickle like to me.

They were a fun novelty cookie to try but not a keeper. My coworker did like them. I also took them to a church meeting and everyone tried only one of them.
