First of July Wednesday WIPs

This teacher is on vacation and the crafting is easy:)

Charity Knitting: I began on the charity hat. It will be a wild one since I am using up scraps.

Socks: I cast on a new pair of socks using America 250 themed yarn set. The yarn is from one of my favorite dyers, Freckled Whimsy. Ask me how I know she is one of my favorite dyers (hint I just cleaned up my yarn stash:)

Shawl: I am back to sometimes not picking up the shawl again:(

Sweater:‍ ‍The yoke is about ½ complete on my new sweater. I suspect this one will be a stunner of a knit.

Crochet: In the craft room/yarn stash clean up I discovered some baby yarn I had on hand. When I had a baby I did crochet baby things, but I really do not make many baby items. The one blanket that I have made over and over again is the Jaime Blanket. The pattern was on the yarn band years ago. It is a wonderful easy pattern. I really like Jaime baby yarn, but of course Lion Brand discontinued it years ago. I am happy to be back making a beloved item.
