Abandonment

I have sent the vintage Christmas ornaments onto another life. The project was bringing me no joy. Also I really do not need another ornament for my tree - it is already overloaded with treasures.

I find I am having difficulty settling down to my next stitching project. In the clean out/up of my crafty space I found a few more unfinished projects:(

One was a dresser/pillowcase set I had purchased eons ago from Herrschners. I had begun on the dresser scarf so I did pick it up to work on this week.

It is not crosstitch, which is good I was beginning to worry my eyes would start crossing. Another issue is that I really do not use dresser coverings. Maybe I should start if I finish this piece.

The good news is I still had the key to stitching and all the embroidery thread placed in a project bag. I found another long term project so that might enter the rotation. Only issue is that it is crossstitch. We shall see what next week brings.
