First Week of August WIPs (Los WIPs de primera semana de agosto)

Today is my first official day back at school. I have 3 days of meetings nad then students begin the school year on Monday.

Hoy es mi primer día oficial de regreso a clases. Tengo tres días de reuniones y luego los alumnos comienzan el curso escolar el lunes.

Old Vine Project: Completed about half of the 12 row repeat. I do find this piece relaxing but it needs a block of time to really work on and it is not a portable project at all.

Completé aproximadamente la mitad de la repetición de 12 filas. Encuentro esta pieza relajante, pero requiere un bloque de tiempo para trabajarla realmente y no es un proyecto portátil en absoluto.

Charity Knitting: I am close to splitting for the face opening. I have about 5 inches complete and need 2 more before I split for the opening.

Estoy a punto de partir la abertura para la cara. Tengo unos 12,5 cm completos y necesito 5 cm más antes de partir la abertura.

Socks: Finished the first of the my DD socks. I cast on the other when i had to accompany her to an appointment and we had to wait forever. Cuff and half of the leg are already knit.

Terminé el primero de mis calcetines para DD. Empecé el otro cuando tuve que acompañarla a una cita y tuvimos que esperar una eternidad. El puño y la mitad de la pierna ya están tejidos.

Crochet: Nothing was accomplished on this during the week. I find it hard in some ways to make myself look at the youtube tutorials for each step. Once I do I am off to the races, it is just the hurdle of finding the correct segment and watching it. I rarely watch youtube tutorials for anything so it is not my favorite way to learn.

No logré nada en esta semana. Me cuesta un poco ver los tutoriales de YouTube para cada paso. Una vez que lo hago, me lanzo a la carrera; solo queda encontrar el segmento correcto y verlo. Rara vez veo tutoriales de YouTube, así que no es mi forma favorita de aprender.
