Begin August Reads (Comienzan las lecturas de agosto)

I think the dog days of August/summer reading have arrived. I am not truly enjoying any of the books I am reading or listening to this week. I might have to download something else to rekindle the reading magic.

Creo que ya llegó la época más calurosa de lectura de agosto/verano. No estoy disfrutando mucho de ninguno de los libros que estoy leyendo o escuchando esta semana. Quizás tenga que descargar algo más para reavivar la magia de la lectura.

A Walk in the Park: A True Story of Spectacular Misadventure in the Grand Canyon by Kevin Fedarko. I have made some progress in this book, but honestly some pages I am just skimming they are not interesting. I will keep on to see if it suddenly becomes interesting but I have my doubts.

Un paseo por el parque: Una historia real de una espectacular desventura en el Gran Cañón, de Kevin Fedarko. He avanzado un poco con este libro, pero, sinceramente, algunas páginas que solo estoy leyendo por encima no son interesantes. Seguiré leyendo a ver si de repente se vuelve interesante, pero tengo mis dudas.

American Spy by Lauren Wilkerson. Another book that just is not sparking much interest. It is just not exciting enough to ispire me to listen when working out. this might also be returned.

Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam. So far this has not sparked any of my attention or interest. I will try again to listen to the next chapter but it might soon be returning to the library.
