FO Friday - Socks

Well I cleaned my craft room because I needed to find a particular skein of Felici yarn I knew I had (thanks Ravelry stash keeper). That turned into 2 full days of work since I basically tore it apart once I got started. It is almost too clean now for me to work in there :) Anywoo I found the missing skein. I found it after just a few minutes of looking but by then the cleaning/decluttering bug had hit. By the way I wish my city had a craft reuse store. I would gladly donate, but I would have to wear blinders when entering the store so I did not buy anything. Sometimes you decide a kit is just not for you or you have extras of supplies you do not need. I donate quite a bit of it to Goodwill but I have heard of these magical craft reuse stores. I wonder if they are like unicorns. I have personally do not have the time or energy to begin such an adventure.

I made these socks for my DD in the Knit Picks Felici colorway. This is basically my own pattern/recipe. I have even (finally) remembered to write the recipe down on my Ravelry project page. I have the number of rounds I need to complete so the socks fit her feet. As you can see she does not have princess feet like me and purls on her soles do not bother her.

I really like this colorway, but…I cannot buy anymore Felici yarn. In the great clean up I found all the skeins I have in the collection. um..I need to knit way more socks than I do.
