Friday Freezer
I have been making a few freezer meals each day to restock my freezer. These will especially be appreciated at the beginning of August when I begin the new school year.
I have made chicken parmesan, chicken tikka masla, chicken fajitas and Basil Pesto chicken among other items. Not all pictured here but I have also made some dishes with pork as the protein.
Freezer meals are convenient. I attached the directions on how to finish preparing the meal to each bag before I vacuum seal them. Our DD has a dairy sensitivity so I always make sure to mark which meals are dairy free for her. Most of these meals will end up in the crockpot, but some can also be cooked in the Instant Pot.
If you follow me on Pinterest (nypeapod) I have a board for freezer cooking. The majority of the recipes there I have made multiple times. You can also do a quick Google search and find more recipes than you could actually make in a lifetime. Freezer meals also make great housewarming, new baby gifts - really anytime a friend or neighbor might need a meal delivered. The beauty of making it a freezer meal is that it can be eaten at a later date, not right away.
