Saturday Show
I was out of town last weekend for a trip to Flagstaff. AZ. We attended the Flagstaff Wool & Fiber Festival. This year they have moved to a new site and we all agreed we really enjoyed the new facility so much. The first thing we did upon arrival was walk through all the booths.
I was looking for yarn to make the Knitmas in July KAL that begins at the end of the month. I found what I was looking for at Lavender Fibre Co. Now I just have to wait for the first clue.
My DD showed me a sweater she wanted to knit. We then went on the hunt to find yarn that would work with her pattern. We finally found what she was looking for in a preferred colorway at The Dye Smith. My DD selected her yarn and I was staring at sample sweater the owner had knit. Skeins of her mohair and silk yarn jumped into my bag to knit the same sweater.
I also bought some hand lotions and then came across the Lemon Wood booth. They make and sell Mini Minders, this truly makes your yarn portable. I bought one and have already begun using it. It is a delightfully well crafted item that is a delight to use.
