Hand Sewing

Well my DD has been thrifting again. She found a 100% wool cardigan with a cute flower design. One of the the flower petals was loose and flapping in the breeze.

I was studying how to fix the flapping petal. I realized they had sewn the center down (ps. terrible sewing job on that portion). I am not sure how they actually attached the rest of the “petals”. I sewed the flapping petal with some very light pink. Cannot even notice the “repair” unless you look very closely and no one should be that close to my DD to see the sewing work.

I finished reworking the crosstitch piece I created for my parents. I had washed it earlier and ironed it. It needed to be reframed after the wash. All finished and ready to hang on the wall.
