Last March Wednesday WIPs

I spent a lot of time on planes the past week so excellent knitting time. Since I was flying to Europe I used bamboo needles so nothing got taken at security. I am not over the moon about using bamboo. My yarn just seems to glide better on metal. I have never had any issues with knitting supplies when flying. A knitting friend told me that Spain (which she visited about 6 months ago) seems to be stricter on metal needles than other places. I did not want to chance it so bought new bamboo needles.

Felting Project: Nothing got done on this bag due to be being away from home for a week.

Charity Knitting: Nothing on this project scarf due to being out of town.

Socks: I almost finished the socks for my DD. I would have finished and left them with her if I hadn’t run out of yarn. I thought 50 grams was enough for her pair, but that actually only works for my socks.

I also cast on a pair of socks for me before I left on vacation. I am using up the remains of the 2025 Cozy Knitter Advent.

Shawl: I needed another project besides socks to take on vacation. I cast on a new scarf. I received this yarn in the Fall at a yarn swap. I did have to cast it on 3 times, but now I think I may have it under control.

Crochet: I added the last of the naughty medallions this week. Now I will have to begin a new one completely from scratch. ‍I think I have 15 more to go until the end of the row.
