New Dress (Vestido nuevo)

A week or so ago I did a batch cutting of a few patterns. I love the look of the Love Notions Olympia Dress. I have one I completed and love to wear. Decided it was time to sew up another. I bought some woven dress fabric from Fabricmart quite a few months ago with this pattern in mind. I finally got around to cutting and sewing.

Hace una semana, más o menos, hice varios patrones. Me encanta el vestido Olympia de Love Notions. Terminé uno y me encanta usarlo. Decidí que era hora de coser otro. Compré tela tejida para vestidos en Fabricmart hace unos meses con este patrón en mente. Por fin me puse a cortar y coser.

The collar can be a little tricky - not hard, but you need to take your time. Katrina from Lifting Pins & Needles has an excellent tutorial. If you follow her you will have no problems. I love that it is all enclosed and no neckband to attach.

I am very happy with this new make. The drape of the fabric is perfect for the dress. Of course it has pockets!
