New Shirt

I bought some adorable panels from knitfabric.com way back in July 2024. I finally got around to using at least one of them to make another Styla Reine shirt. This a free pattern and makes a regular shirt just a little extra.

Compré unos paneles preciosos en knitfabric.com allá por julio de 2024. Por fin me decidí a usar al menos uno para hacer otra camisa Styla Reine. Este patrón es gratuito y hace que una camisa normal sea un poco más práctica.

The little extra is the sleeve detail. El pequeño extra es el detalle de la manga.

I believe this might be my 6th version of this pattern. By this point I can get one cut and sewn in under 2 hours. When I purchased the panels I also bought matching fabric. The fabric is a knit with great recovery and the correct amount of stretch for the pattern.

Creo que esta podría ser mi sexta versión de este patrón. A estas alturas, puedo cortar y coser uno en menos de dos horas. Cuando compré los paneles, también compré tela a juego. La tela es de punto con gran recuperación y la elasticidad adecuada para el patrón.

This is not my greatest sewing job my seams (at the cuffs and underarm) could use a little better matching, but better than most of the ready to wear items I see people paying lots of money for in the stores. Also sometimes I am not here for a long time, but a good time. Only I notice the slight imperfections and the shirt fits, looks cute and makes me happy.

Este no es mi mejor trabajo de costura; las costuras (en los puños y las axilas) podrían combinar mejor, pero son mejores que la mayoría de las prendas de vestir que veo que la gente compra a precios muy altos en las tiendas. Además, a veces no estoy aquí mucho tiempo, pero lo paso bien. Solo noto las pequeñas imperfecciones y la camisa me queda bien, se ve bonita y me alegra.

I consider all of that a win. The collar even behaved itself for the most part. It will be a fun holiday shirt to wear. I am not sure how I actually made a holiday shirt prior to the actual holiday but miracles happen.
