New Tank Top
I have been trying out various tank top patterns over the years. About a year ago I made 2 different ones using panels and did not like either one. I found what I thought might be a great pattern from a new to me pattern company, Sonia Estep Designs. An ad came across one of my social media feeds for the tank top April. She is followed by some of my online sewing friends so I took the plunge and bought the pattern. I was not disappointed.
I found another new pattern company I love. The directions were super easy and I am very happy with the resulting object. Now of course I did not follow the pattern exactly as written. I had to shorten the length because I am not 5’5”. I read through how they wanted you to attach the neckline line and shoulder binding. I did my own thing there and it worked out fine.
I used a scrap remanent I had leftover from another project. It was a 4x2 or maybe an 8x2 rib from Olga’s Closet. I really like the overall look of this tank. I plan on making more. The fit is good but I have an idea or two of some tweaks I could do to make it even better.
