Week 42 of YOP14

Spring has sprung here, we have already hit 90 degrees on at least 1 day. I am calling this the end of the month since it is close enough so a little monthly update.

Knitting Plans/Goals

April Goals: Complete the Catcus Twizzler socks. Complete the charity knit for the month, a basketweave scarf. Knit at least 1/4 of the Flagstaff Old Vine project.

Report: I finished the scarf and the Catcus Twizzler socks (a FO post will happen next Friday). I believe I am also at least a 1/4 of the way through the Flagstaff Old Vine project. I believe I achieved all the goals in knitting this month.

Sewing Plans/Goals

April Goals: I had planned on leggings for the month. Well, we will see about that. I have quite a few other things I would like to sew probably before leggings.

Report: Well I did not sew any leggings. I think next month I will just sew whatever I want. I did sew quite a few objects. I sewed 2 practice projects. One was a semi-winner, just some tweaks needed, the other lead me to toss a pattern. I also finished a new knitting bag, a dress, and a tank top (post on Monday).

Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals

April Goal: If it is not broken don’t fix it. I will continue with an hour a week. I hope to move the Q-snap at least once during the month.

Report: This month I moved the Q-snap to begin working on the other side of the project. Goal was achieved.

Crochet Plans/Goals

April Goal: I would like to complete one of the sides of the bag with the larger piece of plastic canvas.

Report: I have 3 of the inside pieces completed so the project is moving right along.

Cricut Plans/Goals

April Goals: I really have no idea if I will even touch the machine this month. I have plans but time is not on my side.

Report: As predicted I did not use my Cricut once this month.
