New Yarn for the Stash

Well you all know I certainly need more yarn in the stash. Hey, keep your comments to yourself friend! One of my favorite dyers, Freckled Whimsy was running a preorder for a special 6 stripe skein to celebrate America’s 250th birthday in July.

Ooh, that went in the cart right away. It was delivered just the other day and is stunning. She entitled the colorway, Homespun Heritage I love the bags she always uses to send her goodies. It is always exciting to get squishy mail, but it is just the cherry on top when it arrives in a cute mailer.

This is actually a sock set. Of course Little Miss Dainty Feet over here can get 2 pairs of socks from the 100 grams even without doing heels and toes a different color. These are going to be stunners.

Luckily I disregarded the voice telling me, Linda you don’t need anymore yarn. Good thing my name is not Linda!
