Pink Lemonade

Remember I bought the case of lemons, well that calls for lemonade. I usually freeze the fresh squeezed lemon juice in 1 ½ cup portions to make fresh lemonade, but I saw a recipe.

The recipe was for pink lemonade that was not a concentrate. It used strawberries for the pink portion. First I had to make strawberry syrup which was very easy using the fresh strawberries I had. I mixed the strawberry syrup, fresh squeezed lemon juice, sugar and water to get pink lemonade.

I made one batch, we taste tested it and then I made another batch. Each batch yields about 7 quarts. This is not the bright shocking pink of most pink lemonades you see in the store. It is even better. This is going to be used up very quickly I can tell.
