Vintage TNT Tuesday

I am not ready to begin another grand huge embroidery project just yet. I found this vintage kit while thrifting a few years ago. It is dated from the mid 1970s.

As with any needle project the first order of business is organizing the thread. The actual pattern is simply a photocopied graph paper chart. The color chart even included the floss numbers.

If I thought the counted cross stitch for my mother’s project was tiny this Aida cloth count is even tinier. Thank goodness it is not a large project. It took the hour to sort the thread. I finished the light gray portion of the sleigh blades.
