Week 38 of YOP15
I made progress on some projects this week. Se avanzó en algunos proyectos esta semana.
Knitting Plans/Goals (Planes/Objetivos de tejido)
March goals Metas de marzo: finish knitting the second side of the felted bag and then actually felting it. Finish the green charity cowl. Finish my new 2025 Advent shorties. If I manage all that I might just cast on something new.
Progress: I cast on a scarf that I have made probably 5 times for this month charity project. It is not in green yarn, but more of a hilighter yellow with green undertones.
Empecé a tejer una bufanda que probablemente he hecho cinco veces para el proyecto benéfico de este mes. No es de hilo verde, sino de un amarillo más intenso con matices verdes.
Sewing Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de costura
March goal Metas de marzo: Instead of a pattern this month I am going to upcycle with thrifted fabric/material.
Progress: Since this is my challenge I decided this week to sew up 2 more chairty purses for sewpowerful.org. I used up scraps of material I had in the stash that was not large enough to actually use in a larger sewing project.
Como este es mi reto, esta semana decidí coser dos bolsos más con forma de silla para sewpowerful.org. Usé retales de tela que tenía guardados y que no eran lo suficientemente grandes como para usar en un proyecto de costura más grande.
Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de Bordado/Punto de Cruz
March goal Metas de marzo: Complete at least 4 hours of crosstitch during the month. Beginning the wording in the middle of the piece. Also need to decide on the dedication portion of the piece.
Progress: I outlined the hands this week. At first I was thinking what exactly is this going to look like. After completing them they really do look finger/hand like. Only 3 colors - not many color changes in outline land.
Esta semana delineé las manos. Al principio pensaba en cómo se verían exactamente. Después de terminarlas, realmente parecen dedos o manos. Solo tres colores; no hay muchos cambios de color en el contorno.

March goals Metas de marzo: Complete the last row on the tablecloth. Begin the edging.
Progress: Well if you have been following along on my Wednesday WIP posts you will realize why this project has been in time out for 30 years. I think I have it back under control but it took a few weeks to get there.
