YOP 16 Plans

yop

I will continue with the monthly goals. They seem to work the best for my and my brain. I am so happy to have found this group. I love reading all the blogs and I have gotten so many wonderful ideas from you all - a true blessing.

Knitting Plans/Goals

10 pairs of socks (I would like to complete 12). A charity item a month, 2 sweaters, 1 shawl or cowl. I need to knit lots of socks based on all the yarn I located in my stash.

Sewing Plans/Goals

The theme a month worked well for me over the past year. My goals are to continue with a theme of the month (July is Christmas in July). I would like to sew at least 3 items a month.

Embroidery/Cross StitchPlans/Goals

Well since I cleaned out/up my craft space I found more embroidery WIPs. I would like to finish at least one of the 3 projects I found this year. Setting aside an hour a week for stitching has worked very well for me. If I do more that is always great, but an hour a week seems like an achievable goal.

Crochet Plans/Goals

I would like to crochet at least 2 baby blankets using yarn I found when I was cleaning up my craft space. I would also like to crochet a wearable item this year.

Misc Goals/Plans

These are more personal goals that are important to me: continue meeting once a week with my trainer and working out at least 3 times a week. My trainer and I are working on getting me ready to lift weights. I want to enter the County Fair again. I am also trying to convince my friend to enter here art this year. Continue reading and maybe finish a book a week. That would achieve at least 50 books read over the course of a year.

Hopefully this will be my last year of working for my school district as a teacher. I complete my 30th year as a teacher in Las Vegas on Aug 14, 2026. I am free to retire anytime after that date. We shall see what the future holds as far as teachign and retiring.
