Mid July Book Report

I had a few books that were due back at the library so I had to hurry up and complete a few finishes. The Bullet that Missed by Richard Osman. This is such a fun series with interesting characters and somewhat zany plots. Stone Blind by Natalie Haynes. Thoroughly enjoyed this listen - just wish the story would keep going the writing is so good. Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant by Anne Tyler. This was a kindle borrow from my local library. Another family drama, I think I am done with the author for at least a while. Two long family dramas in a month are a bit much.

Hardcover Book

Fresh Water for Flowers by Valerie Perrin. This book has been translated from the French. I am enjoying a slow read of this book. The chapters are short but packed with so much wonderful writing.

Car Audio

The House Is On Fire by Rachel Beanland. A historical fiction book based on a true event. Some portions are a very hard listen due to the story line.
