YOP 41/53

One of my goals this year which was on my YOP at one time was to enter at least 1 item in my county fair. Well I dropped off my entries on Friday after work. I entered jars of pina colada jam, pickled beets and canned pineapple. I also entered a dress I sewed and a stranded colorwork knitted cowl. Based on the high number on the receipt I received it seems like there will be a lot of competition. The fair opens mid week. I plan on trying to get out to visit it next weekend (it is more than an hour by car from my house).

Knitting

Weekly Update: I started a freezer cooking club with some other women at work. I provide the ideas/recipes when we meet once a month. It is quite nice and ensures I make a freezer meal at least once a month.
