Week 43 of YOP15

The end of the month calls for an update.

KnittingPlans/Goals (Planes/Objetivos de tejido)

April goals Metas de abril: Finish my 2025 Advent shorties. Finish a charity knit. I will not be finishing the shawl I began on vacation last month, but hope to make significant progress on it. I also would like to cast on either another felted project or a sweater.

Results: Well this turned out not to be the month for knitting. I have almost finished the first of the Cozy Advent socks. I did nothing on the shawl. I am about 1/3 the way in the charity knit.

Sewing Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de costura

April goal Metas de abril: This month will be woven material month. I have some nice denim and other wovens I would like to use to make some shirts and you know at least one dress will make an appearance.

Results: Despite all the ironing I do enjoy sewing with wovens. It is where I began my sewing journey. I did a quick sweater knit sew before I got down to business. I sewed a new blouse, flannel robe, pants and a top to match (post on Monday for the latest top). I made the shirts but not a dress, there is always next month.

Embroidery/Cross StitchPlans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de Bordado/Punto de Cruz

April goal Metas de abril: Complete at least 4 hours of crosstitch during the month. Maybe I might even finish all the wording this month!

Results: The lettering is going to take longer than anticipated. It might help if I could stop ripping out what I stitched the previous week.

Crochet Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de crochet

April goals Metas de abril: Complete the last row on the tablecloth. Begin the edging.

Results:‍ ‍This was a total win for the month. I have completed the last row and made a start on the first row of edging.
