7/16 Wednesday WIPs

I am traveling this week so next week hopefully there will be progress on something but this is what I accomplished before I left.

Estoy de viaje esta semana, así que la próxima semana espero haber avances en algo, pero esto es lo que logré antes de irme.

Old Vine Project: I took this with me on my trip so hopefully some progress will be seen. I frogged 3 rows and rejoined the new wound skein. Currently I am unable to see any difference from the join but only time and knitting will tell.

Me lo llevé de viaje, así que espero ver algún progreso. Deseché tres vueltas y volví a unir la madeja recién enrollada. Actualmente no veo ninguna diferencia en la unión, pero solo el tiempo y el tejido lo dirán.

Charity Knitting: Well I finally got it cast on and only completed a few rounds. It did not get taken on a trip so it has languished the last few days.

Bueno, por fin terminé de montarlo y solo completé unas pocas vueltas. No lo llevé de viaje, así que ha estado parado estos últimos días.

Socks: I did not finish my second sock but I cast on a new pair for my daughter anyway. I do not have much left on the second sock. I did not want to take it with on the trip. The horror of finishing a sock and not having yarn to start a new one while traveling kept it home.

No terminé mi segundo calcetín, pero de todas formas monté uno nuevo para mi hija. No me queda mucho del segundo calcetín. No quería llevármelo de viaje. El horror de terminar un calcetín y no tener lana para empezar uno nuevo durante el viaje me lo hizo quedar en casa.

Crochet: The last plastic canvas piece is almost complete. I have sewn the lining onto to the 2 smaller pieces. I will wait to do the big pieces until all the smaller pieces have sewn linings. I believe I have enough to make pockets on the side pieces, but I want to make sure I actually cover the required pieces before playing around with extra fabric. See “Not my first rodeo” for reason why.
