A Short Hike

Over the summer I bought new hiking boots. I have not really had a chance to try them out until today. My DH and I went to our local wetlands park to try them out.

Not only did I try the boots but also some bright socks I bought from my friends business. She has a sock making machine. I bought my DD a pair last Christmas which she just raved about. Thought this year was the time to treat myself.

We saw some great birds and enjoyed the peace and quiet. You rarely see other people in this wetlands. We just enjoyed about an hour of walking and looking around on a beautiful morning.
