FO: Charity Hat

I cast off another watch cap for the Christmas at Sea Program of the Seaman’s Church Institute. I used up 3 balls of scrap yarn on the project. I had 2 random balls of black that worked out just fine. I ran out of black about 2 inches from the end so finished with a short portion of a new skein of black. The stripes were a ball of speckled greyish yarn someone gifted to me in a donation of yarn for making hats.

Terminé otro gorro para el Programa de Navidad en el Mar del Instituto de la Iglesia del Marinero. Usé tres ovillos de lana sobrante en el proyecto. Tenía dos ovillos negros al azar que me quedaron perfectos. Se me acabó el negro a unos 5 cm del final, así que terminé con un trozo corto de una madeja nueva de negro. Las rayas eran un ovillo de lana grisácea moteada que alguien me regaló como parte de una donación de lana para hacer gorros.

This is the 7th item I had crafted for this organization this year. I think it is a rather nice looking watch cap.

Este es el séptimo artículo que he elaborado para esta organización este año. Me parece una gorra de reloj bastante bonita.
