Week 50 of YOP15

Hard to believe the month of June is at the halfway mark.

KnittingPlans/Goals

June goals: Finish my DD beach socks. Finish a charity knit hat. Continue to work on the shawl. Finish the Mother’s Day Vibe sweater.

Progress: I just keep knitting in the round on the charity hat. The Mother’s Day Vibe keeps giving good vibes. I am about 1/3 of the way with the shawl. It is going to be quite the large project.

Sewing Plans/Goals

June goal: This month will be a clean out the kit month. I have quite a number of sewing kits. Most contain all materials needed to complete. It’s me, I’m the problem. I actually have to sew them.

Progress: I completed another kit from last years Sallie Tomato Advent - a thread spool garland. It really had no sewing involved - have hot glue gun will travel. It did come from a sewing kit box so I am counting it. It was quite fun to finish.

Embroidery/Cross StitchPlans/Goals

June goal: Complete at least 4 hours of crosstitch during the month. I uncovered a vintage little kit I picked up at the thrift store and that will be my new project.

Progress: I began the vintage crosstitch ornaments. Oh boy is this Aida cloth very tiny!

Crochet Plans/Goals

June goals: Finish the skein of bright yellow scrubby yarn I have to make as many scrubbies as possible.

Result:I have 2 scrubbies complete from the ball of the world’s worst yarn. I have begun a third.
