Week 14/52 YOP16
A new month (my favorite as it is my birthday month:) means new goals.
Knitting Plans/Goals
October Goals: I doubt I will finish my Knitmas scarf, but there are always miracles. This thing is a lot of stitches. Complete the pair of Halloween socks for my DD. Finish the hat I cast on last month for charity. Keep working on the shawl. This is another “will I ever finish this thing” kinda project. Finish the second sleeve on the Father’s Day sweater.
Progress: The Knitmas shawl is still on section 6 but only about a dozen rows until I reach section 7. On the sock front I am through the heel flap and heel itself. I am now reabsorbing the stitches on the instep to get back to knitting in the round. I finished a very small ball of the green mohair that had broken off in the reskeining. The plan this week is to finish the second sleeve and get back to knitting in the round.
Sewing Plans/Goals
October Goals: I am out of ideas for monthly challenges in the sewing realm. I think this month I will just sew as the feeling takes me.
Progress: On the last day of the month I finally sewed a pair of pants. A fun Halloween pair.
Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals
October Goals: Continue with my hour a week plan
Progress: I am winging it with the directions, but still stitching.
Crochet Plans/Goals
October Goals: Begin a new crochet project, that is yet to be determined.
Progress: The baby blanket has been completed and is already gifted. An FO post will arrive here on Friday.
