Week 30 of YOP15

This heading has neat fun numbers that are connected. I had Monday off this week from work for a Federal holiday so got a little more crafting time. I am calling it the end of the month round up.

Knitting Plans/Goals (Planes/Objetivos de tejido)

January goals Metas de enero: work Old Vine project, finish a charity knit for the month, cast on a pair of socks, cast on a new sweater.

Trabajar en el proyecto Old Vine, terminar un tejido benéfico del mes, empezar a tejer un par de calcetines, empezar a tejer un suéter nuevo.

Results: The sweater was finished. I did cast on the second sock in the pair and finished it. I also finished this month’s charity knit. It will be a Friday FO at the end of the week. I even snuck in some knitting time on the Old Vine project.

Resultados: El suéter está terminado. Empecé a tejer el segundo calcetín del par y lo terminé. También terminé el proyecto de tejido benéfico de este mes. Lo mostraré como proyecto terminado el viernes. Incluso saqué un rato para tejer en el proyecto Old Vine.

Sewing Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de costura

January goal Metas de enero: After reviewing my 2025 sewing I realized I should make more than one try of a pattern. Therefore this month will be all about the Made for Mermaids Winnie pants. I will make a sample and then try a few more pairs. I want to try different weight knit fabrics and different pant widths and waistband options.

Después de revisar mis proyectos de costura de 2025, me di cuenta de que debería probar un patrón más de una vez. Por lo tanto, este mes me dedicaré por completo a los pantalones Winnie de Made for Mermaids. Haré una muestra y luego coseré algunos pares más. Results: Well I made my sample and 3 more pairs to boot of this pattern. The pocket I still find a little tricky mostly because sometimes the fabric does not want to play nice with me. Each pair is more comfortable than the last. I will post about my last pair tomorrow. I officially really love this pattern.

Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de Bordado/Punto de Cruz

January goal Metas de enero: Complete at least 4 hours of crosstitch during the month. Completa al menos 4 horas de punto de cruz durante el mes.

Results: I did all the hours and did make progress. On Tuesday I will post my beginning/ending of the month progress shots. Resultados: Cumplí con todas las horas y logré progresar. El martes publicaré las fotos de mi progreso al principio y al final del mes.

Crochet Plans/Goals Planes/Objetivos de crochet

January goals Metas de enero: Complete the two handles needed and decide on whether it needs a zipper closure or not. My goal is to finish this project this month.

Objetivos de enero: Terminar las dos asas necesarias y decidir si necesita cierre de cremallera o no. Mi objetivo es terminar este proyecto este mes.

Results: I finished one of the straps and am almost 1/2 done with the second one. I think I will finish it before Friday - the official end of the month. Resultados: He terminado una de las correas y me falta poco para terminar la segunda. Creo que la terminaré antes del viernes, que es el último día del mes.
