Week 4/52 of YOP16
Another week of unbearable heat so stayed inside a lot!
Knitting Plans/Goals
July Goals: Complete at least ½ of the Knitmas in July KAL. Not a hard pattern but there were issues with the cast on. Complete the yoke of my Father’s Day sweater. Complete one of the pair of my 250th socks. Finish a hat for charity. Keep working on the shawl.
Progress: I’ve completed 3/9 sections of the KAL. Now it is just using the main color and no more switching colors every few rows. Just knitting round and round until the two decreases on the sock. The yoke of the sweater is almost complete. The hat is just working round and round until the crown decreases.
Sewing Plans/Goals
July Goals: This month I am sewing for Christmas in July. Trying to get a jump start on sewing gifts.
Progress: I made reusable paper towels out of flannel and am loving them.
Embroidery/Cross StitchPlans/Goals
July Goals: I need to settle on a project. This is harder than it first appeared. I have no shortage of contenders. I am beginning to realize why these projects have lingered in the WIP pile for years.
Progress: All the guidelines are complete. This week I will work on the words.
Crochet Plans/Goals
July Goals: Completed at least ½ of the baby blanket I have begun crocheting.
Progress: The blanket has grown and am about to begin skein 4.
