Week 50 of YOP14

Busy working on a volunteer project in another country all week but did manage to get a few things worked on in my down time.one.

Knitting Plans/Goals

June Goals: Knit at least 1 pair of socks. Socks are the ultimate portable knitting project. Finish the charity knit for the month of May and begin a new one for the month of June. Complete the Flagstaff Old Vine project.

Update: I finished a pair of socks while flying this week. I have cast on another pair to have while running errands and walking.

Sewing Plans/Goals

June Goals: The not planning on any specific projects worked very well last month. I did quite a bit of repair sewing last month so I should be caught up in that area for at least a month. I do want to finish the lap quilt. I also need to sew more clothes and bags.

Update: Still sewing away on the quilt in 30 minute blocks of time.

Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals

June Goal: If it is not broken don’t fix it. I will continue with an hour a week. I hope to move the Q-snap at least once during the month. I will also be taking a picture of my progress on the project over the past year.

Update: Did some outlining this week.

Crochet Plans/Goals

June Goal: Complete at least the crochet portion of the bag. There is lining sewing and I believe a zipper installation to complete before it will be a FO.

Update: OMG, even my DH thinks this the longest project in the history of crocheting. I have about 6 rows of 57 stitches to finish the last largest piece of the bag. It sounds like a lot even written out!
