Week 44 of YOP14
The last few weeks of school a re filled with lots of must dos which leaves shortened time for crafting:(!
Knitting Plans/Goals
May Goals: Complete the Sprinkles Roller socks. Complete the charity knit for the month, the glow in the space helmet liner. Knit at least 1/2 of the Flagstaff Old Vine project.
Update: Well…I think we have a problem with the socks, they appear to have become twisted so that will need to be sorted this week. I haven’t knit a stitch on the Old Vine since last Sunday. I did get to the division for the face opening on the helmet liner so that did see some love.
Sewing Plans/Goals
May Goals: Well let’s not plan for anything this month and just sew. I was attempting a new handbag but messed up something terrible so that was a no show, no go project. I am in the middle of quilting a small lap quilt currently. I did finish a cute tank top last week.
Update: I remember why I rarely quilt. I have been working on a small lap quilt. It did not really see any love this week. I keep thinking hey I must have quilted everything on this piece- I open it up and think drat, not even close:(
Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals
May Goal: If it is not broken don’t fix it. I will continue with an hour a week. I hope to move the Q-snap at least once during the month. Here is where we sit at the beginning of the month.
Update: This appears to be my only consistent worked on project each week. It is only an hour a week and I seem to be able to squeeze that out somehow.
Crochet Plans/Goals
May Goal: I would like to complete at least 4 of the sides of the bag.
Update: Oh these big side pieces take along time. I managed about 7 rows but it does not look like much.
Cricut Plans/Goals
May Goals: I really have no idea if I will even touch the machine this month. I have plans but time may not on my side.
Update: The less written the better - nothing going on here folks just move along. Hey maybe I can get a project completed. Well I might also grow 5 inches and lose 20 pounds in the next week. The chances are about the same as getting the machine out:)
